THE PARTYBREAKERS

The band was formed in 1982 and its original line-up consisted of Zoran Kostic Cane (vocals), Goran Bulatovic Manza (drums), Nebojsa Antonijevic Anton (guitar), and Ljubisa Kostandinovic (guitar). They made their debut on October 4, 1982 in Dadov where they played with The Fifties.

Their first LP was recorded in the Belgrade O studio and was produced by Koja (Disciplina kicme). In March 1988 they released their second album. The song Put (The Way), which was additionally recorded in March 1988, demonstrated the band's aspirations towards building an authentic musical identity. At that time, MTV made a report on the band. In February 1992, the band held a concert at KST where Kusturica, Johnny Depp, and Jim Jarmusch appeared as special guests.
In 1992 The Partibreakers participated in the ad hoc anti-war project Rimtutituki and recorded the protest song Slusaj 'vamo.

Two years later they released the album Kiselo i slatko (Sweet and Sour), and in 1996 the band presented their compilation album Najbolje od najgoreg (The Best of the Worst). The promotional concert entitled Ne padaj pobednice (Victor Don't Fall) was held on September 3, 1997 at the foot of Kalemegdan.
