MARKO NASTIC (RECYCLED LOOPS/RECON WARRIORS/TESHKA MASHINERIA)

Marko Nastic is the leading Serbian DJ who has received cult status on the local electro scene during the years. Marko was born in Belgrade and fascinated with synthesizers and rhythm machines since his early childhood. He showed his interest in electro music very early and began his career in a techno store Happy People, where he met many famous techno performers and other important figures on the local club scene.

His partnership with Dejan Milicevic proved to be very important for his career: together they started the project Teenage Tecno Punks and secured a firm position as the main performers in the celebrated Belgrade club Industrija TTP, where Marko soon became the leading DJ and programme director.

His next project Teška mašinerija (Heavy Machinery) was initialized at the period he spent in Industrija and was followed by a series of successful performances.

After that his career only went uphill: he participated in all important music events in Belgrade and Serbia. Marko possesses an inventive, fresh, and authentic artistic style that leaves nobody indifferent. He cooperated with world's major techno performers and signed an exclusive contract with the record house Recycled Loops. Marko made a breakthrough on international scene with his two EPs (Devil in My Pants and Let's Get High), released under the Recycled loops label.

After that he formed his own record label Recon Warriors that currently prepares its first release. Taking a look at all he's done, it's hard to believe he is only 24 years old: his rich and successful career is all the more impressive when you compare it to those of his older colleagues. Today Marko performs at clubs throughout Europe on a regular basis, and some of his 'exotic' tours include Thailand and Brasil.

During his Recycled Loops tour he traversed Europe and visited Malaysia, Singapore, and Columbia for the first time.

The tour was used for the promotion of Marko's new album Recyclopedia Eclectronica, which is soon bound to appear on the Serbian market.
